1. INDUSTRIAL DATA The Journal of the Faculty of Industrial Engineering,
Research Papers published in the Industrial Engineering field. It is
published by the Research Institute of the Faculty and is in the form of
an annual volume consists of two semi-annual numbers.
2. INDUSTRIAL DATA Magazine, receive items of work done by researchers
at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos and other national and
foreign researchers. Articles may be submitted in Spanish or English.
3. The Journal has the following sections:
- Research papers. They are original works developed in the areas of
Design and Technology, Production and Management, and Systems and
Computer Science.
- Short Communications. There are reports of unpublished works or of
interest to the scientific community.
4. Research articles will be structured as follows:
a. Title. You must have the fewest possible words and express the real
content of work.
b. Author (s). Place the first name, last name and mother's surname. In
a footnote (footer) is placed on academic degree, the position held at
the institution where you work and e-mail address. Should be considered
in the first instance the researcher that more work devoted to the study,
and so on with other authors. It is important to include students.
c. Abstract. In Spanish and English, in one paragraph and no more than
150 words. Must contain the problem, clearly, the procedures and results
of the investigation. In a separate point add 3-5 Keywords.
d. Introduction. It is important to state "why the topic was chosen and
why it matters." We suggest including: bibliographic history, purpose,
justification and limitations of the study.
e. Article Body. Describe clearly and concisely how the survey was
conducted and includes the results supplemented by tables and figures.
Where possible, interpret and discuss concretely the most important
results.
f. Conclusions. Contributions should be read as a study problem.
Paragraph may also be called "Conclusions and Recommendations."
g. Thanks. (Optional)
h Bibliography. All references should appear in strict alphabetical
order.

5. Drafting
Articles should be written single-spaced, on A4 size with a maximum of
10 pages. Item must be submitted using MS Word processor and Excel
tables, Arial 10 points and attaching the respective disk.
6. Arbitration
Item ships to the editor of the magazine are done in print with the
electronic version. The author of the article takes a commitment not to
send simultaneously to other publications. The Editorial Board subject
to review articles and recommended modifications and corrections you
consider relevant or return items that do not meet the quality,
originality and content.
7. The Editorial Board is not responsible for the conclusions reached by
the authors in their work.
