The Revista Estomatologica Herediana is a periodic scientific publication, devoted to the dissemination of Stomatology (Dentistry) Biomedical and Public Health research results; furthermore, it publishes revisions of topics, clinical cases and others contributing to the continuing education of professionals of the oral health sciences and related interdisciplinary fields.

The Revista Estomatologica Herediana is a quarterly publication, published since 1991 and is distributed exclusively through subscription.

The manuscripts presented for publication in the Revista Estomatológica Herediana should not have been published, nor presented for publication in another journal, partially or complete, in printed or electronic format (Internet). The Revista Estomatológica Herediana reserved all legal rights for reproduction of the content.

The Revista Estomatológica Herediana follows the guidelines established in the "Standard Requirements for the preparation of manuscripts sent to biomedical journals", prepared by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors or Group of Vancouver (http://www.icmje.org/index.html). The manuscripts received for publication are submitted for a peer review process.

The manuscript is sent to two national or foreign reviewers, pairs of the researchers, who carry out the pertinent corrections or observations; then the manuscript is returned to the authors for corrections or answer to the observations carried out. In case the reviewers issue contradictory opinions, the manuscript is sent to a third reviewer.

Afterwards, the manuscript is submitted for review of the drafting and finally goes for layout. The diagrammed version as it will be published is sent to the authors for their approval.
