Método: Se realizó un análisis bibliométrico mediante la aplicación de indicadores tales como índice de coautoría, rango de autores firmantes y su relación con las citaciones recibidas, evolución de la colaboración; se utilizó el análisis de redes para el estudio y visualización de la colaboración. Resultados: El índice de coautoría de la producción científica en general es 4.85 y el rango de autores firmantes predominante se encuentra entre 4 y 5 autores. El artículo con mayor cantidad de autores (30) es el que mayor cantidad de citas ha recibido en las dos bases de datos analizadas. Sólo 50 documentos no muestran colaboración al ser firmados por un único autor, mientras que la colaboración intrainstitucional está presente en más de 200 documentos. Conclusiones: Los patrones de colaboración muestran el predominio de la colaboración intrainstitucional en el período. En el análisis de la colaboración institucional se destacan la Universidad de Camagüey y el Hospital Manuel Ascunce Domenech al establecer vínculos colaborativos más fuertes con otras entidades, tanto cubanas como extranjeras. La internacionalización de la producción científica fue muy baja hasta el año 2005, a partir del 2006 tiene un ligero incremento pero continúa por debajo de la colaboración nacional e intrainstitucional.<hr/>Abstract Objective: To describe the behavior of co-authorship in the scientific production of Camagüey registered in the databases of Web of Science (WoS) and Scopus in the period 2001-2013. Method: A bibliometric analysis was performed through the application of indicators such as co-authorship index, rank of authors and their relation with citations received, evolution of collaboration; the network analysis was used for the study and visualization of the collaboration. Results: The co-authorship index of scientific production in general is 4.85 and the rank of predominant authors is between 4 and 5 authors. The article with the greatest number of authors (30) is the one with the highest number of citations received in the two databases analyzed. Only 50 documents do not show collaboration because were signed by a single author, while intra-institutional collaboration is present in more than 200 documents. Conclusions: The patterns of collaboration show the predominance of intrainstitutional collaboration in the period. In the analysis of institutional collaboration, the University of Camagüey and the Manuel Ascunce Domenech Hospital stand out by establishing stronger collaborative links with other entities, both Cuban and foreign. The internationalization of scientific production was very low until 2005, as of 2006 it has a slight increase but continues below the national and intrainstitutional collaboration. <![CDATA[Gamification: a new multimodal approach to education]]> http://www.scielo.org.pe/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&pid=S1562-47302018000100017&lng=en&nrm=iso&tlng=en Resumo Objetivo. Este artigo pretende apresentar o conceito de Gamificação como uma alternativa multimodal para a educação, considerando ser uma iniciativa relativamente recente. É um fenômeno em fase inicial, carente de maiores estudos e discussões, mas não por isso menos interessante, porquanto propõe uma nova abordagem para a educação e muitos outros segmentos do conhecimento humano contemporâneo. Método. A pesquisa mostra que na Educação de Nível Superior, como em outras áreas, o seu uso ainda é incipiente, pois a polêmica que envolve o tema ainda é considerável, no entanto, vem conjugar esforços com outras propostas de mesma envergadura, na tentativa de sublimar alguns dos problemas de aprendizagem dos indivíduos, levando-os ao engajamento e motivação no ambiente educacional. Não se trata de uma revolução, ou proposta de abandono de conceitos e procedimentos pré-existentes, mas uma tentativa de compor com o que já existe e de aproveitar os benefícios da evolução por que passa a humanidade para que a aprendizagem se torne cada vez mais natural aos olhos dos indivíduos. Resultados. Desafios terão que ser transpostos, podendo ser de natureza tecnológica, financeira, procedimental, educacional ou estrutural, com maiores estudos e pesquisas e avaliação dos resultados pode-se avaliar se a iniciativa é consistente e se veio para ficar.<hr/>Abstract Objective. This article intends to present the concept of Gamification as a multimodal alternative for education, considering it a relatively recent initiative. It is a phenomenon still in its infancy, lacking in more studies and discussions, but not less interesting, since it proposes a new approach to education and many other segments of contemporary human knowledge. Method. The research shows that in Higher Education, as in other areas, its use is still incipient, because the controversy surrounding the theme is still considerable, however, it joins efforts with other proposals of the same magnitude, in an attempt to sublimate some of the learning problems of the individuals, leading them to the engagement and motivation in the educational environment. It is not a revolution, or a proposal to abandon pre-existing concepts and procedures, but an attempt to compose with what already exists and to take advantage of the benefits of evolution through which humanity passes, so that learning becomes increasingly more natural in the eyes of individuals. Results. Challenges will have to be transposed, and may be of a technological, financial, procedural, educational or structural nature. With more studies, research, and evaluation of the results, it is possible to evaluate if the initiative is consistent and if it has come to stay. <![CDATA[New directions of digital preservation: of the strategies to the computerized systems]]> http://www.scielo.org.pe/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&pid=S1562-47302018000100031&lng=en&nrm=iso&tlng=en Resumo Objetivo. Este estudo realiza uma breve reflexão sobre a preservação de documentos arquivísticos digitais, destacando a relação entre as políticas institucionais, as estratégias de preservação digital, e os sistemas informatizados de gestão e preservação. Método. Consiste no levantamento bibliográfico de materiais previamente publicados das áreas de Arquivologia e Ciência da informação, resultando em um artigo de revisão assistemática. As fontes consultadas consistem em livros, teses, textos em sites da internet e artigos científicos de periódicos indexados no Google Scholar, com um recorte temporal referente aos últimos vinte anos. Resultados. A literatura pesquisada conduz a necessidade de se definir, previamente, as políticas de preservação digital, e após, implementaros sistemas informatizados para gestão e preservação, mantendo altos níveis de interoperabilidade. Além disto, salienta-se a questão de manter uma cadeia de custódia ininterrupta que contemple as três idades do ciclo de vida dos documentos. Conclusões . Este estudo sintetiza aspectos de um sistema de preservação digital gerido basicamente em duas etapas distintas, porém interoperáveis. Desta forma, reforça as discussões sobre a cadeia de custódia documental e interoperabilidade entre as normas, os sistemas informatizados e os demais softwares utilizados no acervo.<hr/>Abstract Objective. This study makes a brief reflection on the preservation of digital records, highlighting the relationship between institutional policies, digital preservation strategies, and computerized systems of management and preservation. Method. It consists of the lifting of bibliographic material previously published in the areas of Archival Science and Information Science, resulting in an unsystematic review article. Consulted sources consist of books, theses, texts on websites and scientific journal articles indexed in Google Scholar, with a time frame for the last twenty years. Results. The literature leads to the need to define in advance the policies of digital preservation, and after, implementing computerized systems for management and preservation, maintaining high levels of interoperability. In addition, it is noted the issue of keeping an unbroken chain of custody covering the three ages of the document life cycle. Conclusions . This study synthesizes aspects of a digital preservation system basically managed in two distinct stages, but interoperable. This reinforces the discussions on the chain of documentary custody and interoperability between standards, computerized systems and other software used in the collection. <![CDATA[Experience in training researchers as authors and reviewers of research papers]]> http://www.scielo.org.pe/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&pid=S1562-47302018000100044&lng=en&nrm=iso&tlng=en Resumen El artículo aborda la experiencia desarrollada en la Universidad Central "Marta Abreu" de Las Villas, Cuba, con el objetivo de diseñar e implementar un entrenamiento de posgrado para contribuir a la elevación de la preparación de investigadores experimentados y líderes científicos en el área de las Ciencias Pedagógicas en la elaboración y revisión de artículos en revistas educativas de impacto internacional. Se insiste en la importancia actual del tema tratado y se analiza el diseño metodológico de la experiencia, así como la caracterización del programa y la implementación de actividades docentes. Se presentan los resultados obtenidos y se destaca la medición de los indicadores a partir del desempeño de las personas entrenadas en el rol de autor y en el rol de revisor, lo que permitió el análisis por personas entrenadas y por indicadores, considerando también los datos cualitativos recogidos durante el proceso. En general, se demostraron discretos avances en los personas entrenadas con relación a la elaboración y revisión de artículos, ya que aún se manifiestan limitaciones; sin embargo, se reconoce la influencia que tuvo el entrenamiento en la toma de conciencia de los participantes acerca de la necesidad de elevar el rigor y la calidad en las producciones derivadas de los resultados de las investigaciones para alcanzar la publicación de sus trabajos en revistas reconocidas por la comunidad científica.<hr/>Abstract The paper presents the experience developed in the Central University "Marta Abreu" of the Villas, Cuba, with the objective of to design and to implement a postgraduate training in order to elevate the preparation of experienced researchers and scientific leaders in the area of Pedagogical Sciences in both elaboration and revision of papers in educative journals. The importance of the treated subject in nowadays is point out, as well as the methodological design of the experience, the characterization of the program and the implementation of educational activities. There are presented the obtained results and is pointed out the performance of the participants in the role of both author and reviewer, which allowed the analysis by both trainers and indicators, considering also the gathered qualitative data during the process. In general, discreet advances were demonstrated in the participants, since still limitations are pronounced; however, it is recognized the influence that had the training in the taking of conscience of the participants about the necessity to elevate the rigor and the quality in the productions derived from the results of the research to reach the publication of its works in journals recognized by the scientific community.
