Abstract

ORTIZ, Claudia Isabel; GURVICH, Marta Daniela  and  ZUCCARINO, César Rogelio. A pedagogical approach to social innovation processes. Communication perspectives. Desde el Sur [online]. 2024, vol.16, n.1, e0009.  Epub Jan 31, 2024. ISSN 2076-2674.  http://dx.doi.org/10.21142/des-1601-2024-0009.

The evolution of the training of communicators in Latin America, influenced by changing curricular models, raises questions about the relevance of social innovation. This article addresses these concerns by sharing the experience of the Seminar on Communication and Innovation Processes in the Bachelor's Degree in Social Communication at the National University of Cordoba, developed between 2021 and 2023.

Preliminary results of a qualitative exploratory study are presented. This study took into account the three cohorts of the Seminar in order to analyse the pedagogical-didactic strategies implemented.

In conclusion, the seminar approaches the teaching of innovation from three dimensions (theoretical frameworks, relationship with communication studies and teaching praxis), promoting a comprehensive and critical training with the purpose of opening new perspectives to response to social problems.

Keywords : Communication-pedagogical; innovation-vocational; training-higher education.
