The research aimed to highlight educational progress by analyzing authors' perspectives and approaches to quality assurance policies in Higher Education between 2019 and 2023. The PRISMA systematic review method was employed to identify 30 studies from three major databases: ERIC, Scopus, and SciELO. Inclusion criteria focused on studies published in English, excluding those not centered on Higher Education and quality assurance as main competencies. he results revealed a complexity of approaches regarding quality assurance policies in Higher Education. These policies seek to enhance both relevance and educational experience. The importance of ensuring quality standards to ensure that higher education meets its academic and social objectives is emphasized. Additionally, the need to adapt these policies to changing educational demands and contexts is evident, as well as to promote the participation of diverse stakeholders in their design and implementation. The study underscores the importance of comprehensively addressing quality assurance policies to strengthen and enhance their contribution to social and economic development.
