Abstract
FERNANDES ALVES, Railda et al. Public health interventions conducted by psychologists in Brazil, Spain and Portugal. Revista de Psicología [online]. 2016, vol.34, n.2, pp.357-386. ISSN 0254-9247. http://dx.doi.org/10.18800/psico.201602.006.
This article presents the results of a survey conducted in Brazil, Spain and Portugal. The objectives were to explore the discourses of psychologists about their practices in public health services in primary, secondary and tertiary care. A comparative and descriptive field studywas employed. One hundred seven participants filled out a questionnaire and were interviewed. The results indicate that the Brazil samples had more difficulty to situate and distinguish the specifics of their interventions at primary, secondary and tertiary health care levels. The Spaniards defined primary health interventions better while the Portuguese showed moderate difficulty in identifying the level of relevance of their practices.
