Abstract

PAREDES-MUNOZ, Martín Abel et al. Valsalva sine rupture: A case report. Rev Med Hered [online]. 2020, vol.31, n.2, pp.116-118. ISSN 1018-130X.  http://dx.doi.org/10.20453/rmh.v31i2.3773.

Sinus of Valsalva aneurysm is a rare entity, with an incidence of 0.09-0.15%. In some cases, patients with aneurysm show up asymptomatic whenever the aneurysm is intact. If it is perforated, it manifests itself as a rapidly progressive heart failure chart. We report the case of a 27-year-old patient without comorbidities with rupture of the aneurysm of the Valsalva sinus and carry out a bibliographic review.

Keywords : Aneurysm; ruptured; pregnant women; pre-eclampsia.
