Abstract

The pseudoaneurysm is a rare complication of severe acute Pancreatitis and is more prevalent in alcoholic patients. This case report describes a 44-year-old male patient with a history of chronic alcoholism with pancreatic pseudoaneurysm by arterial erosion, which was diagnosed by CT imaging and US Doppler abdominal and successfully treated with transfixiant ligation of splenic artery with aditional surgical drainage by Foley catheter.
