Endoscopy revealed duodenal ulcer and the histopathology confirm CMV infection. The workout was negative for human immunodeficient virus (HIV), HTLV-1 and occult cancer. The patient developed a serious infection and died due to urinary septic shock. Palabras llave: Duodenal ulcer; cytomegalovirus; upper gastrointestinal bleeding; immunocompetent. | |||||||
