Results of a year surveys in 21 houses from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico are provided. Details on the arthropod families are included. With the use of sticky traps, 25 197 specimens were collected. We recognized 122 families from 31 orders. Only five families grouped 76.45% of the observed abundance and the highest values of infestation indeces throughout the year: Entomobryidae (9.04%; 100%), Psyllopsocidae (10.10%; 95.23%), Liposcelididae (8.11%; 100%), Formicidae (33.58%; 100%) and Phoridae (15.42%; 100%).
