CRUCES, Luis e VERGARA, Clorinda. Distribution of the species of eight genera of the Coreini tribe (Heteroptera: Coreidae) in Peru. Ecol. apl. [online]. 2015, vol.14, n.1, pp.41-54. ISSN 1726-2216.
Coreini is a tribe that belongs to the Coreidae family. It has the largest number of species in tropical regions, and some of them are cited as crop pests over the world. In order to contribute to the knowledge of our coreids diversity, a catalog of Coreini species from Peru was elaborated. Samples kept at the "Klaus Raven Büller" Museum of Entomology at the National Agrarian University La Molina, in Lima, Peru were examined. The identification was based on the keys and descriptions given by Brailovsky (1985-2012). 23 species that belong to eight genera: Acidomeria, Anasa, Althos, Catorhintha, Cebrenis, Sphictyrtus, Vazquezitocoris y Zicca were identified. The distribution of the species of these genera in Peru is presented as well as new distributional data. The species with a wider distribution are Zicca. signoreti, Z. rubricator rubricator, Z. impicta, Anasa bellator, Althos pectoralis, Catorhintha guttula and Vazquezitocoris andinus, found at least in six departments of Peru.
