lt has been found that the subcutaneous injection of cocaine produces in the dog a transitory increase of the glucemia. This is shown in a slight degree with 10 mg. per kilogramme of weight, and reaches a value higher than 100 % of the normal quantity, in a few cases, with the dose of 18 mg. X Kgr. This hyperglucemia is followed, in most instances, by a slight or moderate hypoglucemia.
