Some remarks about the plantlore of the northern part of Perú (de partments of Piura, Lambayeque and Libertad) are made, especially in connection with those plants which have metabolic, coagulant, pharmaconeurologic and pharmacopsiquiatric properties. The active principles of these plants are now under pharmacologic study.
