There is reported the collection o Triatoma dimidiata LATREILLE, 1811 and of Panstrongylus rufotuberculatus CHAMPION, 1899 in the basins of the Tumbes and Zarumilla Rivers. In addition, there is reported a negative result in the search for Trypanosoma cruzi in T. dimidiata.
