Abstract
CHANG, OJ; HIGHTOWER, A; MAGGIL, A and ROPER, M. Las Necesidades del Trabajador en Salud y el Sistema de Posicionamiento Global (GPS). GPS convencional (GPSC) y GPS diferencial (GPSD). Rev. perú. med. exp. salud publica [online]. 1998, vol.15, n.1-2, pp.26-29. ISSN 1726-4634.
The authors explain, from the perspective of the needs of health workers, the use of GPS, emphasizing the need for differential GPS when highly accurate location of elements (e.g. houses, insect breeding sites, etc.) is required, using as an example real data.
