Abstract

HUAPAYA C, Blanca et al. Primer aislamiento de Escherichia coli O157:H7 Enterohemorrágica en el Perú. Rev. perú. med. exp. salud publica [online]. 2001, vol.18, n.1-2, pp.38-39. ISSN 1726-4634.

The strain was confirmed and characterized in the National Institute of Health as E. coli O157:H7 which carried a shiga like type II toxin, being the first report of an isolation of enterohemorragic Escherichia coli in Peru.
