In 2003 we conducted a voluntary pilot of Peruvian National Board of Medicine (ENAM) by the Peruvian Association of Medicine Schools (ASPEFAM), at the time tre ENAM is required to apply for residence and was taken into account for the choice of where their graduates perform SERUMS (Rural and Marginal Urban Service of Health). This article reviews such as the drafting process of ENAM.
