Abstract

RODRIGUEZ ESPINOLA, Solange. Adaptation to children from social perceived support questionnaire MOS. liber. [online]. 2011, vol.17, n.2, pp.117-128. ISSN 1729-4827.

The psychometrics characteristics were examined of the Argentina adaptation to children from Social Perceived Support Questionnaire MOS, in a sample of 593 participants. The parameters of the MOS-A showed acceptable values. The extraction of factors showed a predominant factor functional social that explained 26.93 % of the variance. It was understood that children don’t differentiate types of social support because they see it as an integrated or general concept. Alpha Cronbach’s coefficient was of .84 for the total scale. As a resul, MOS-A is presented a valid instrument for the evaluation of the Social Perceived Support in children.
