ISSN 1810-634X. Chemically modified chitosan biopolymer was used to evaluate the adsorption for Cu(II) from diluted solutions by means of equilibrium and kinetic studies. The equilibrium fits the Langmuir model, while the kinetics the difussion mechanisms. The adsorption rates were evaluated through the pseudo-order equations.
