The antihelmintic activity of the aqueous extracts of Sarothamnus scoparius was evaluated; high percentage of efficacy against the oxyuris Syphacia obvelata was obtained. Lupinus ballianus showed a high percentage of efficacy against the oxyuris Aspiculuris tetraptera. The aerial part of Sarothamnus scoparius presents alkaloids, flavonoids, saponines, tannins, steroids, triterpens, anthraquinones, cumarins and cardiotonics. Lupinus ballianus presents alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, steroids, triterpens, and sesquiterrpenlactones.
