Through the concerted 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition mechanism and in basic and anhydrous conditions a new series of derivatives pyrroles was synthesized of α,β-unsaturated carbonylic compounds (chalcones) and the nitrogenated synthon Tosylmethylisocianide (TOSMIC). The starting materials, α,β-unsaturated carbonylic compounds, were obtained through Claisen-Schmidt condensation from the respective acetophenones and benzaldehydes substituted in meta position; the TOSMIC is a precursor commercially available. The spectroscopic characterization of both the precursor of the target molecules was perfonned using the conventional techniques as nuclear magnetic resonance (¹H- y ¹³C-RMN) and infrared spectroscopy.
