In the present study the antioxidant activity was evaluated "in vivo" of the chope (Gustavia august L), sachamangua (Grias neubertii Macbr), and macambo (Theobroma bicolor), of fruits collected in the Peruvian Amazon region. They were utilized 32 albino mice of the lineage Wistar. It was divided them into four groups of eight animals and a control group. It was administered them water extracts of the fruits in study, in the concentration of 200 µl and to those of control a solution of glucose to the 1%. It was evaluated in a period of 28 days and is obtained the following results: Fat tissue: the polyunsaturated fatty acids were over those of control, emphasizing the group of macambo with 40%. Sachamango group protected better to the fatty acids in the liver and presents the value of 51,11%, as well as in the brain there was an increment in the concentration of oleic acid, for the groups of sachamango 21,55% and macambo 21,77%; linoleic acid, for the groups chope and sachamangua (1,29 and 1,37%). The polyunsaturated fatty acids were over those of control, emphasizing chope 48,14% and macambo 48,57%.
