DIAZ PORRAS, Hilda Vanessa et al. Antiplatelet effect in vivo and fibrinolytic in vitro ethanol extract leaves Oenothera rosea Aiton (chupasangre). Rev. Soc. Quím. Perú [online]. 2011, vol.77, n.3, pp.225-234. ISSN 1810-634X.
The phytochemical analysis of the ethanol extract of the leaves of Oenothera rosea Aiton were identified: tannins, flavonoids, quinones, alkaloids and saponins, the main objective to determine the effect of ethanol extract of the leaves of Oenothera rosea Aiton on hemostasis, to that was evaluated the in vitro fibrinolytic effect of ethanol extract at the following concentrations: 5.8, 0.29 and 0.014 mg/ml human venous blood to the antiplatelet effect was given 25, 50 and 100 mg/kg of extract 40 female albino rats, which were divided into 5 groups of 8 animals each. The control group was administered saline 5 ml/kg and used aspirin 100 mg/kg, as standard drug, we determined the prothrombin time and clotting time obtaining greater effect than 50 mg/kg to vary by 8% (p < 0.000) and 45% (p <0.001) respectively.
