VALDIVIA LORO, Arturo. Self’s construction: (De/Re)Territorialization. Letras [online]. 2021, vol.92, n.136, pp.185-195. Epub 29-Dez-2021. ISSN 0378-4878. http://dx.doi.org/10.30920/letras.92.136.14.
The pandemic caused by COVID-19 that started in 2020 and is still in effect in 2021, has led to different types of publications about what the future holds for human beings and society. Among them is the text of Sopa de Wuhan, a book whose name itself generates a debate. Even in the case of asynchronous publications in different parts of the world, the texts make it possible to detect common aspects: a deterritorialization of the subject and its possible reterritorialization. In order to demonstrate that the pandemic has accelerated the process of change of the subject, a schizoanalysis has been carried out from the perspective of Gilles Deleuze, in the categories of body, society and State to understand the process of deterritorialization of the self and for its reterritorialization. It has been identified how the different organs of the machine have been decomposed to reinvent themselves, or replace each other, through new folds in the objectile and the superject, causing a rhizomatic way of understanding the yoization of the subject. The different folds that have been formed as a result of the pandemic, in the conformation of the self, are associated with the natural and cybernated survival of obedient or disobedient people, even in the case of subjects aware or not of their behavior.
