PINEDO PANDURO, Mario et al. Improvement of the agronomic characteristics and yield of camu-camu fruit with the use of biofertilizers in Loreto, Peru. Scientia Agropecuaria [online]. 2018, vol.9, n.4, pp.527-533. ISSN 2077-9917. http://dx.doi.org/10.17268/sci.agropecu.2018.04.08.
In order to increase the quality and yield of the crops in the plots of the small producers, it is necessary to look for alternatives of organic fertilization of low cost and of easy application. In this sense, the objective of this study was to determine the effect of biofertilizers on the agronomic characteristics and camu-camu fruit yield. The experiment was conducted using a completely randomized block design (CRBD) with five treatments, six blocks and one plant per experimental unit. The biofertilizers were: T1) Witness without biofertilizer, T2) Chicken manure, T3) Bovine manure, T4) Island Guano, T5) Hen manure. After 210 days, it was verified that the plants treated with the bovine biofertilizer presented the best results in length, diameter, weight and yield of fruit with 24, 96 mm; 27.28 mm and 11.35 g and 14.15 kg, respectively. Thus, it is concluded that biofertilizers made from cattle manure and poultry significantly improved fruit yield, size and weight in camu-camu plants.
