COAGUILA, Pedro; BARDALES, Roxana y ZEBALLOS, Omar. Digestates from the production of biogas from cattle slurry in onion production in arid zones. Scientia Agropecuaria [online]. 2019, vol.10, n.1, pp.119-124. ISSN 2077-9917. http://dx.doi.org/10.17268/sci.agropecu.2019.01.13.
The objective of this research was to evaluate the effect of two doses of solid digestate and four levels of liquid digestate on the production of onion cultivation "Camaneja" in Majes Irrigation. The liquid digestate and solid digestate used were the remnants of the Biogas plant of the Universidad Católica de Santa María installed in the Majes Irrigation. The experimen t was conducted in an experimental plot conducted under drip irrigation, establishing two doses of solid digestate and four levels of liquid digestate compared to an additional treatment (control with chemical fertilization), having a total of 9 treatments, distributed in a randomized complete block design with factorial arrangement, including the additional treatment and three repetitions. The solid digestate was applied in bottom fertilization before the installation of the experiment while the foliar applications of liquid digestate are made to the wet furrow for the 15, 30, 45 and 60 days after the transplant. The variables evaluated were: plant height, bulb diameter, percentage of dry matter and yield. It was determined that the best dose of solid digestate was 2 t∙ha-1 and the best level of liquid digestate was 50%.
