Self-esteem has been positioned as one of the constituent elements of the entrepreneur psychology. From the theory of planned behavior is possible to approach to the development of entrepreneurial skills through the attitudinal way, where is possible to mention the participation of self-esteem. The aim of this research is to evaluate the association between self-esteem and 13 entrepreneurial skills in students of economic and administrative sciences. We used a quantitative, descriptive and correlational methodology with a non-experimental design. A sample of 167 students from the University Center of Economic and Administrative Sciences of the University of Guadalajara was obtained as empirical evidence. We found that self-esteem is associated positively and mean with the entrepreneurial skills; also, self- esteem has a positive influence on the entrepreneurial skills. These results were obtained by Spearman correlation, linear regression and ANOVA analysis.
