Abstract

This research aims to determine the environmental economic assessment based on thegness to pay of tourists who make rural tourism experiential in Taquile Island so as to allow the environment and conserve natural areas, which are currently at risk deterioration and contamination, also reports the existing tourism resources in Taquile island, lake Titicaca, beaches, shores and dock of Taquile underlying outstanding features, along with 25 textiles, dance and cuisine and convince a potential visitors or foreign national, socioeconomic characterization as income, the hypothetical price and the level of higher education determine tourists' willingness to pay for environmental conservation, determining the value money that tourists are willing to pay for making experiential rural tourism on Taquile island is $ 5.35, which represents S /.14.00 (nuevos soles).
