Resumo

The present paper analyses the application form of the criteria for fair trade by export enterprises of 39 textile handicraft production in the region of Puno; the study considered the following criteria: internal and external transparency, development of capabilities, promotion criteria of fair trade and respect to the environment. The study has a descriptive approach. The results point out that the application of the FAIRTRADE criteria (fair commerce) is not development with professionalism due to the lack of specialized personnel in the areas of promotion and communication, becoming as consequence of the misinformation of the main objective that seeks FAIRTRADE (fair commerce) in front of the living standards of the artisans of enterprises that search for a better family economy.
