Abstract

In this paper a number of ideas that pretend to locate the state of vulnerability and risk in which people would be in the contemporary, mainly due to the conditions that imposes a precarious work are proposed; based on these elements seeks to support the situation has been referred to under the term of hidden poverty, seeking to establish a comprehen- sive universe that allows dimensioning the phenomenon through a clear definition. To accomplish this initiative , it has been necessary to propose the discussion of poverty as regards initial term , obtaining from a state of open , versatile and dynamic issue . Finally , some elements that seek to unify and clarify how to understand the situation of poverty highlighting the hidden character of social problems are presented.
