Abstract

The strategic view, has allowed search competitive advantages through intangible resources. Thus, organizational culture has been a key component in the success and development of the organization. A strategic factor in the construction of organizational culture is due to the interaction between employees and their perception of their organization. The main objective of this study is to analyze the perceptions about organizational culture in higher education institutions in the south of Sonora, using a quantitative approach, with a non-experimental design and descriptive-comparative cut, based on a sample of 276 employees. By means of the test T- student of independent samples, were found significant differences between the employees of the higher education institutions of the south of Sonora; Otherwise, through one-way ANOVA, it was found that there are significant differences in the perception of the organizational culture among the different higher education institutions. The findings, leave to recognize the coexistence of four types of cultures, as well as significant differences in the perception of the employees per the role in the institution
