Abstract

Mobile learning gives all students the opportunity to learn from wherever they are; in this way, it is intended to close the educational gap, which for various reasons has made it impossible to develop English language skills in a pertinent manner, either in virtual, blended or face to face environments. As an objective, this research sought to establish the relationship between mobile learning and English language skills in Language, Communication and English Language students at the José Faustino Sánchez Carrión National University in 2020. The work opted for the non-experimental design, of a descriptive, correlational level, with a quantitative approach, two virtual questionnaires were applied, through the survey technique, to collect data and know the results of a sample made up of 114 students. The results showed that 51.8% of students have a medium level in the use of mobile learning and have a medium level of development of English language skills. Likewise, it was concluded that there is a significant relationship between the use of mobile learning and English language skills, with a positive and high correlation between the variables studied (r=0.640) with significance of p value of (0.000).
