BELTRAN MOLINA, Rosa Patricia; AMESQUITA VERA DE CUBA, Johanna Paola and TURPO-GEBERA, Osbaldo. Teaching performance in the research competencies of master's students. Comuni@cción [online]. 2022, vol.13, n.4, pp.262-271. Epub Dec 31, 2022. ISSN 2219-7168. http://dx.doi.org/10.33595/2226-1478.13.4.747.
The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between teaching performance and the investigative skills of students of master’s degree of a private university in Arequipa. This was supported by a descriptive, correlational and non-experimental study. One hundred and twenty-nine students, to whom the Teaching Performance Survey and the Investigative Competencies Survey were applied, participated. Subsequently, the treatment of the data was carried out, for instance the normality of the study sample was determined, then the Chi-squared test and Spearman's Rho were calculated, since it does not present the expected normality. The results showed that, according to the perception of the master's degree students, there is a statistically significant relationship (X2 = 89,951) and a considerable positive correlation (rS=0,577), between the study variables. Therefore, it is concluded that there is a significant relationship and a considerable positive correlation between teaching performance and the research skills of master's students in the fields of Occupational Health and the Environment, Public Management, Higher Education, Health Management, Constitutional Law, Child, Adolescent and Family Mental Health, and Public Health.
