Abstract

HERNANDEZ, Ronald M et al. Scientific publications in peruvian journals of psychology: an analysis from student participation. Rev. Digit. Invest. Docencia Univ. [online]. 2019, vol.13, n.2, pp.19-28. ISSN 2223-2516.  http://dx.doi.org/10.19083/ridu.2019.1082.

The study describes the scientific production of psychology students in Peruvian psychology journals indexed in the Latindex Directory in 2017.  Teoric study is carried out analyzing 220 articles from 12 psychology journals. Any type of publication that does not have the IMRYD structure is excluded. 485 authors with national and international affiliation were registered, of which 8.25% are psychology students, who have participated in the publication of 29 articles (original investigations, reviews and case studies). Of the 29 articles with student authorship, 64.5% were articles from the clinical area and 35.5% from the educational area. The most predominant type of research was instrumental (54.8%). It is concluded that the scientific production of undergraduate psychology students in psychology journals is low. This makes it necessary to strengthen and encourage the generation and dissemination of psychological scientific studies by students in Peru
