Abstract

GONZALES MEDINA, Carlos Alejandro  and  ALEGRIA GUERRERO, Cesar Raúl. Is it possible predicting preeclampsia?. Rev. peru. ginecol. obstet. [online]. 2014, vol.60, n.4, pp.363-372. ISSN 2304-5132.

Preeclampsia is a disease that appears only during human pregnancy and is associated to important maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality. There is no integral model to predict preeclampsia. A review on preeclampsia most predictive markers is performed including Doppler velocimetry of the uterine arteries, biochemical markers and some associated clinical factors. A new preeclampsia prediction index proposal is reviewed.

Keywords : Preeclampsia; pregnancy; prediction.
