FLORES-CHOQUE, Yeni; BRAVO PORTOCARRERO, Rosario; LIMA MEDINA, Israel  and  MACHACA CALSIN, Cielo. Prospecting of Phytoparasitic nematodes in Potato Crop in the Puno región. Rev. investig. Altoandin. [online]. 2017, vol.19, n.1, pp.11-20. ISSN 2313-2957.  http://dx.doi.org/10.18271/ria.2017.251.

ABSTRACT The presence of plant-parasitic nematodes in agricultural crops causes large losses in production worldwide, up to 12%. In the Puno region the nematodes are causing damage to the potato crop; Being the objective of the present work to identify plant parasitic nematodes in potato culture (Solanum tuberosum L.) of the Puno region. 160 samples from seven provinces of the Puno region were evaluated during the 2015-2016. The collected soil samples were processed by the method of centrifugal fluctuation in sucrose solution, subsequently identified genres using a stereoscope, based in morphological and biochemical characterization by electrophoresis, respectively. The results showed the presence of eight genero of plant-parasitic nematodes: Meloidogyne, Nacobbus, Pratylenchus, Helicotylenchus, Xiphinema, Dorylaimus, Globodera and free living nematodes (considered saprophagus and predatory nematodes)
