BENIQUE OLIVERA, Eusebio e OJEDA TITO, Alfonzo. Impacto del cambio climático en la producción y rendimiento de quinua (Chenopodium quinoa WILLd) en la Provincia de Azángaro Región del Altiplano-Puno, Perú. Rev. investig. Altoandin. [online]. 2024, vol.26, n.3, pp.154-160. Epub 29-Ago-2024. ISSN 2313-2957. http://dx.doi.org/10.18271/ria.2024.618.
This study was conducted in the province of Azángaro (Altiplano-Puno Region), based on data from the Regional Agrarian Directorate Puno, agricultural campaign 1996-1997 to 2016-2017. The purpose was to quantify the impact of variations in temperature, rainfall and relative humidity (climate change) on the production and yield of conventional quinoa, The agroclimatic parameters were provided by the National Meteorology and Hydrology Service of Puno (Azángaro Station). The inputs used such as seed, machine hours, daily labor price and animal manure were collected from the 2012 National Agricultural Census. A multiple linear regression function was used to explain the impact of the variables, using Stata version 16 software. The results reveal that optimum temperature and minimum rainfall had a positive impact on quinoa yield and production. Other factors such as machine hours and labor wages have contributed significantly to the yield of Andean grain production. Meanwhile, seed and animal manure had a negative effect on the production of conventional quinoa.
