Distribution and population density of Incaspiza pulchra Sclater (1886) (Aves: Thraupidae) in the Lomas del Cerro Campana Private Conservation Area, La Libertad, 2016-2017 . The present work shows the altitudinal distribution and population density of the Peruvian endemic bird Incaspiza pulchra "great Inca-finch", in the Lomas del Cerro Campana Private Conservation Area in Trujillo, Peru. The study was developed from April 2016 to September 2017. A total of 90 points were evaluated in which an observation time of 10 minutes was used. The spacing between points was 200 meters. Incaspiza pulchra is distributed altitudinally from 294 to 911 m a.s.l., corresponding to two altitudinal floors of the stratification that has this loma community. It has a relative abundance of 56.86 % in the upper floor (>500 m a.s.l.), while in the lower floor (200-500 m a.s.l.) the relative abundance is 43.14 %. The population density was 0.722 individuals/ha.
