Abstract

DAMIAN SUCLUPE, Manuel Julio; GONZALES VEINTIMILLA, Federico; QUINONES PAREDES, Pedro  and  TERAN IPARRAGUIRRE, Jackson Ricardo. Plan of amendments, agricultural gypsum, improved and enriched compost with EM and earthworm humus, to improve the soil. Arnaldoa [online]. 2018, vol.25, n.1, pp.141-158. ISSN 1815-8242.  http://dx.doi.org/http://doi.org/10.22497/arnaldoa.251.25109.

This research aims to determine how the use of a plan of amendments, agricultural gypsum, improved and enriched compost with EM, and earthworm humus improve the soil in Santa Teresita estate, district and province of Lambayeque. The sample used was made up of soil samples from the study area where rice was planted (INIA-510-MALLARES), in Santa Teresita estate (6.695059 and 79.897022 UTM, 61 m a.s.l.), district, province and department of Lambayeque. We observed that in treatment 1, with the application of the plan of amendments, agricultural gypsum and organic matter (earthworm humus and improved compost), a yield of 4795.20 kg of rice was obtained, surpassing the treatment 2 where a yield of 3124 kg of rice was obtained. Regarding the economic analysis, we observed that in the treatment 2, with the application of chemical fertilizers and without organic matter, the control plot showed greater profitability, despite having obtained less yield; while in treatment 1 the cost was higher due to the application of agricultural gypsum and organic matter. We conclude that the plan of amendments, agricultural gypsum, improved and enriched compost with EM, and earthworm humus improved the soil and allows to obtain a higher yield per ha (9590.40 kg of rice), but a low profitability (0.24).

Keywords : plan of amendments; agricultural gypsum; improved compost; earthworm humus; soil .
