The catalogue of commercial ornamental fishes was prepared in Trujillo, La Libertad, Peru in 2017 at the Universidad Nacional de Trujillo. The ornamental fishes were obtained from production companies and some local aquarium centers. Their main phenotypic characteristics were described and the respective digital photographic record was made considering also some environmental characteristics. The catalogue is made up of ornamental species grouped into four orders and five families. Highlight among them Cyprinidae, Cichlidae and Poecilidae, with a variety of shapes, color and beauty. It was concluded that the catalogue consisted of 57 ornamental fishes made up of commercial species and varieties
