The Ticuna people occupy the triple border of Brazil, Colombia and Peru. The most important species in their farms is the "cassava" or "manioc" Manihot esculenta (Euphorbiaceae), one of the most vulnerable to the loss of knowledge about its cultivation. There is no information on cassava diversity in the Ticuna communities, nor on the technology used for processing it. In this sense, the investigation was carried out to describe the varieties, processing technologies and their use in traditional cooking in three communities of the Ramón Castilla District, Mariscal Ramón Castilla Province, Loreto Region. Semi-structured polls, participatory workshops and collection and identification of biological samples were developed, determining 23 cassava varieties, 14 classified by the Ticuna as "sweet cassavas" and 9 classified as "bitter cassavas". Three traditional drinks and five foods made with these varieties were identified, using four technologies from the Ticuna people.
