We present here the orchid flora of the Pulan district, Santa Cruz province, Cajamarca department, Peru; this study was carried out between 2005 and 2019. The area studied is localized between 1600 and 3200 m of altitude, 06º38´30"S and 06º49’48" S, and 78º52’01 "W and 79º01’30" W. Keys for the determination of genera and species and brief descriptions of the species were also made. Thirty genera were recorded, including 69 species. The genera with the highest number of species are: Epidendrum with 18 species, Telipogon 7, Pleurothallis 5, Elleanthus and Oncidium with three species each. The habitats named as Dry cloud forests of the western slope present 45 species, Seasonally dry tropical forests with 21 and Jalca with 3 species. Fourteen endemic species distributed in ten genera were registered [Elleanthus koehleri, Epidendrum (E. apaganoides, E. capitellatum, E.fujimorianum, E. gastrochilum and E. haenkeanum), Eurystyles christensonii, Fernandezia nigro-signata, Otoglossum weberbaueranum, Porphyrostachys parviflora, Prosthechea bennettii, Scelochilus rubriflorus, Stelis concaviflora and Telipogon jucusbambae]. Nine species are in the Endangered category (EN), Epidendrum apaganoides, Epidendrum capitellatum and Prosthechea bennettii as Vulnerable (VU), Epidendrum haenkeanum as Near Threatened (NT) and Telipogon jucusbambae as Critically as Endangered (CR).
