Abstract

The present study is based on the determination of the wild flora with emphasis on species categorized as threatened developed in the Conservation and Ecotourism Center of the National University of San Martín, located in the Regional Conservation Area “Cordillera Escalera”, in the San Martín region. Martín, Peru, being of academic interest to have information on the species that are included in this category, determining their location; taking as reference for the categorization the list of the Official Classification of Wild Flora Species categorized as Threatened issued by Ministerial Resolution No. 5005-2016-MINAGRI. The floristic inventory, collection and identification of plant species was carried out by establishing transects (Gentry, 1995); collecting, identifying and characterizing 21 botanical species, of which the species Abuta grandifolia (C. Martius) Sandwith and Virola sebifera Aubl are considered Near Threatened (NT) and the species Ormosia coccinea (Aubl.) Jacks. in a situation of Vulnerable (VU).
