Resumen

ZAFRA TRELLES, Alina Mabel et al. Seed of potential marine fish for Mariculture in Puerto Salaverry, Trujillo-Perú. Arnaldoa [online]. 2022, vol.29, n.2, pp.247-256.  Epub 30-Ago-2022. ISSN 1815-8242.  http://dx.doi.org/10.22497/arnaldoa.292.29103.

The availability of potential marine fish seeds for Mariculture in the ecosystem of Puerto Salaverry in 2020 was investigated. They were carried out in the summer and spring seasons, the coastline of the beach between the breakwaters was 200 m. The surface temperature of the sea, salinity, and pH were recorded, then an average of four runs was made to obtain the plankton with 70 and 100 μ nets, and fishing was carried out with a 20 x 2 m manual trawl and a 3.5 m Chayo. x 2 m with five coves and was related to the capture of fish from artisanal fishing in the area. Salaverry was characterized by having temperatures between 17-20 °C, 35-36 ppt, and pH 7.4. Phytoplankton was represented by the dominance of Bacillariophytas, Zooplankton by copepods, and the fish seed was represented by three families Atherinidae, Mugilidae, and Sciaenidae, all of which were included in artisanal fishing being the potential for Mariculture.
