BUSTAMANTE, Mariela Arcenia Soledad  y  GUERRERO PADILLA, Ana Marlene. Antifungal effect of Plantago major L. "llanten" aqueous extract against Lasiodiplodia theobromae (Pat.) Griffon & Maubl. Arnaldoa [online]. 2022, vol.29, n.3, pp.401-414.  Epub 30-Dic-2022. ISSN 1815-8242.  http://dx.doi.org/10.22497/arnaldoa.293.29302.

The main objective of this research was evaluated antifungal effect of aqueous extract of Plantago major L. "llantén" on pathogen Lasiodiplodia theobromae (Pat.) Griffon & Maubl pathogen growth under laboratory conditions. The increase phytosanitary problems led scientists to develop strategies and methodologies to avoid crop losses, therefore diversus investigations are being carried out with aim contribution by possible solution problems. This work began by preparing a medium made up of dextrose agar and the aqueous extract leaves Plantago major L. in four concentrations (0%, 25%, 30% and 35%). The measurement mycelium’s dimensions were made three days after grow pathogen, ending assessing in nine days. Results getting were by Tukey's test, variance analysis (ANOVA) and mycelial inhibition growth index. Concluding, the aqueous extract of Plantago major L. (Plantaginaceae) limits Lasiodiplodia theobromae (Pat.) Griffon & Maubl growth in concentration 25%.
