The main objective of this research was to determine to what extent the labor competencies of staff influence the level of satisfaction among parents at a private educational institution in Metropolitan Lima. Following a bibliographic review of study variables, first, five aspects were identified in the analysis of labor competencies: knowledge, skills, attitudes, aptitudes and values. Secondly, as part of the fieldwork, a survey was applied to the parents. Thirdly, the results obtained were analyzed with the assistance of SPSS Statistics software. The results obtained indicate that the level of satisfaction among parents is influenced by the knowledge, skills, attitudes, aptitudes and values of staff. Specifically, the values aspect of staff competencies was found to be the most significant in terms of parents' level of satisfaction.
