This article develops a reading on the dynamics of a type of caricature, trivial, pragmatic and sensationalist, which circulated during the final phase of the Fujimori regime, in the context of the boom of the so-called "chicha" press. The analysis of his discourse is carried out from a socio-critical perspective and includes a look of context. Our hypothesis suggests that the "chicha" caricature or humor draw "chicha" was characterized by a discursive structure that broke with the rationality of conventional graphic humor, renouncing the ability to deepen into those contortions that energized the game of life.
