MALPARTIDA REPETTO, José Luis and MENZALA PERALTA, Celia Consuelo. Multisensory stimulation in the Snoezelen room for the sensory integration of students with disabilities in a CEBE in Huánuco (Peru), 2023. Desde el Sur [online]. 2024, vol.16, n.1, e0015. The Snoezelen room is defined as a global intervention that provides sensory stimuli that provide pleasant sensations of well-being (Asociación España Snoezelen, 2022). The objective of this research was to identify the influence of multisensory stimulation in the Snoezelen room for the sensory integration of students with disabilities at a Special Basic Education Center (CEBE in spanish) in Huánuco (Peru). Methodologically, a positivist, applied, quantitative, explanatory paradigm was followed, with a pre-experimental design with pre- and post-test with a single group. The variables were multisensory stimulation and sensory integration applied to a population of 58 students with a sample of 16 through non-probabilistic sampling. The result of the pre-test was 87.5% regular level and the post-test 100% being regular, a bilateral asymptotic significance of .001 according to the Wilcoxon test. It is concluded that multisensory stimulation in the Snoezelen room influences the sensory integration of students with disabilities in a CEBE in Huánuco (Peru).
