Antonio Cisneros is one of the most prominent members of the generation of 60’s for contemporary criticism. In 1978, he published El libro de Dios y de los húngaros, where he ended his literary silence of approximately six years. The purpose of the article is to study the topic of memory in this collection of poems through the análisis of the following poems “Tu cabeza de arcángel italiano” and “Cementerio calvinista en Praga”. For this, it is hyptesized that El libro de Dios y de los húngaros several conceptions of memory are configured through the interlocutive change and the field-figurative interrelation. The contributions of Stefano Arduini to General Textual Rhetoric will be used as the main theoretical frameweork, such as the rhetorical field and the figurativo field, in addition to the interlocutors proposed by Camilo Fernández Cozman and, finally, the types of memory.
