Resumen

GONZALEZ MONTES, Antonio. Trilce (1922), by César Vallejo: its full literary validity (1922-2022) and the exegetical contribution of some distinguished (Peruvian and foreign) critics. Bol. Acad. peru. leng. [online]. 2022, n.72, pp.107-143.  Epub 16-Dic-2022. ISSN 0567-6002.  http://dx.doi.org/10.46744/bapl.202202.003.

Here we would like to highlight the centennial validity of Trilce, a collection of poems that Vallejo published, first in Peru and then in Madrid, in 1931. We will refer to the writer’s need to invent a word, trilce, to give a title to a hermetic poetry book, ambiguous, but open to multiple interpretations. We will also refer to a group of literary critics (trilcicos) who, since the beginning of 1922, and throughout the following decades of the 20th century and the three decades of the 21st, have contributed to a more exhaustive and valuable knowledge of this collection of poems, currently considered one of the most important books in the world.

Palabras clave : trilcean validity; César Vallejo; hermeticism; literary critics of Trilce; trilcicos.
